Description

Delicious and healthy Greek yogurt marinated chicken that is tender and packed with protein, perfect for dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard any remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For more flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. You can also bake it in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 25-30 minutes.
